Sports Massage Therapist Position

The successful candidate will have a Sports Massage qualification (minimum level 4) and an active interest and commitment to self development and career progression through inonvative practice.

Key Duties

Maintain a clinical caseload of clients by providing quality client care and a high standard of Sports Massage treatment sessions.
Monitoring, evaluating and recording client progress using the Cliniko database
Modifying treatment plans as required and referring clients when appropriate.
Use appropriate communication skills and tools to communicate with customers and other staff.
Work as part of a team and also be comfortable with lone working.

Contract

Part Time Position.
Part time hours to be agreed. Starting with Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Administration/ social media work also available.
Remuneration structure: Competitive fee/Percentage arrangement.

Essential

Sports Massage qualification (minimum Level 4).
Full membership to The SMA, Association for Soft Tissue Therapists (SMA) or equivalent Governing Body.
Full Public Liability Insurance.
Demonstrates an ability to assess, clinically reason, and treat a range of sporting injuries and non-sporting injuries.
To undertake self-directed learning, minimum of 30 hours CPD per year.
To stay within own scope of practice and be able to make appropriate referrals.
Excellent customer service skills.

Desirable

Bsc in Sports Therapy or equivalent degree.
Previous experience in private practice with a proven ability to grow a patient list.
Flexibility to provide occasional cover for other soft tissue therapists.
UK full Driving License.
